5.2.11. Options for low energy neutrons¶

The following parameters are used for neutrons with energies less than 20 MeV.

Table 5.2.91 **emcnf**¶
Value	Explanation
(D=0.0)	Threshold energy for neutron capture [MeV]: implicit capture is considered above this energy; analog capture is considered below this energy.

Table 5.2.92 **nonu**¶
Value	Explanation
(D=1)	Options for fission neutrons
=0	Turn off fission: fission is treated as simple capture.
=1	Normal fission producing neutrons.

Table 5.2.93 **isaba**¶
Value	Explanation
(D=0)	Option for \(S(\alpha,\beta)\) .
=0	No interpolation.
=1	Perform interpolation of the data of \(S(\alpha,\beta)\) , which should be specified for calculations with thin targets in which particle scattering rarely occurs.

Table 5.2.94 **isans**¶
Value	Explanation
(D=0)	Option for small angle neutron scattering (SANS) in thermal neutron scattering library.
=0	No SANS model.
=1	Activates the SANS model included in the thermal scattering file. Requires a special thermal scattering file with the SANS parameters.
