Please double-click the installer (jendl5_setup_win.exe for Windows and jendl5_setup_mac_lin.sh for Mac&Linux) included in phits/XS folder, and select the libraries you want to use in PHITS. If the intaller does not exist, you have to update PHITS or check your anti-virus program whether they are quarantined or not. The installer performs the following steps:
- Download and extract the selected JENDL-5 compressed data (7zip format).
- Add the address information of the newly downloaded data to the specified xsdir file. In this case, JENDL-5 is used in prior to other libraries for all nuclides because it is appended before the information of JENDL-4 (on the line above). Also, JENDL-5 data (data/natural_abundance_20c.dat) will be used for natural element expansions.
To download each library individually, please use the links below. All of the files are compressed in 7zip format, so you will need to install the 7zip software in order to extract them in Windows. Also, address files (xsdir) are included in the compressed files. Please copy all lines written in xsdir and paste them to data/xsdir.jnd. If you want to give priority to JENDL-5 over JENDL-4, make sure that the paste destination is above the information about JENDL-4 (*.50c) in xdir.jnd.
