.. _[t-adjoint]: [ T-Adjoint ] section ================================================== This is the tally used in adjoint mode, **iadjoint=1**, calculations. The results from this tally are equivalent to the results from a **[T-Track]** tally in the corresponding forward mode calculation. See :numref:`sec-adjoint-mode` and the sample input file in ``/phits/utility/adjoint/`` for more details on how to set up an adjoint simulation and how to set **e-type**, **e-smin**, **e-smax**, and **factor** in this tally. .. rst-class:: no-caption-number .. list-table:: **mesh** :header-rows: 0 * - value - explanation * - **reg, r-z, xyz** - Mesh type. A mesh type subsection is required below this option. .. include:: ./commontally/material.rst .. include:: ./commontally/e-type.rst .. rst-class:: no-caption-number .. list-table:: **m-source** :header-rows: 0 * - value - explanation * - (**D=1**) - Specify the number of multi-sources defined in **[source]**. A maximum of 6 multi-sources is supported. Columns of results, flux and r.err, are written to the output file for each multi-source. .. rst-class:: no-caption-number .. list-table:: **e-smin** :header-rows: 0 * - value - explanation * - (**D=0.58**) - Minimum energy of the real photon source. .. rst-class:: no-caption-number .. list-table:: **e-smax** :header-rows: 0 * - value - explanation * - (**D=0.62**) - Maximum energy of the real photon source. .. include:: ./commontally/t-type.rst .. rst-class:: no-caption-number .. list-table:: **unit** :header-rows: 0 * - value - explanation * - **1** (only) - [1/cm^2/source] .. rst-class:: no-caption-number .. list-table:: **axis** :header-rows: 0 * - value - explanation * - **eng, reg, x, y, z, r** - x axis value of output data. * - **xy, yz, xz, rz** - 2-dimensional. * - **t** - Time axis. .. include:: ./commontally/file.rst .. include:: ./commontally/resfile.rst .. include:: ./commontally/factor.rst .. include:: ./commontally/title.rst .. include:: ./commontally/angel.rst .. include:: ./commontally/sangel.rst .. include:: ./commontally/2d-type.rst .. include:: ./commontally/x-txt.rst .. include:: ./commontally/y-txt.rst .. include:: ./commontally/z-txt.rst .. include:: ./commontally/gshow.rst .. include:: ./commontally/rshow.rst .. include:: ./commontally/resol.rst .. include:: ./commontally/width.rst .. include:: ./commontally/volume.rst .. include:: ./commontally/iechrl.rst .. include:: ./commontally/volmat.rst .. include:: ./commontally/epsout.rst .. include:: ./commontally/ctmin.rst .. include:: ./commontally/ctmax.rst .. include:: ./commontally/chmin.rst .. include:: ./commontally/chmax.rst .. include:: ./commontally/trcl.rst .. include:: ./commontally/gslat.rst .. include:: ./commontally/stdcut.rst .. include:: ./commontally/multiplier.rst When using the function to display the transition of tally results and errors, mesh points for the tally results and these statistical errors can be specified by setting the ``anatally`` subsection. This subsection should be defined between the lines **anatally start** and **anatally end** written in the tally section. See :numref:`sec-extstat` for more details.
